Mama Movement with Angela Marquez
Thursdays, 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
This class is specifically designed for mothers to enjoy a good old fashion dance class while being able to bring your baby along. No carrier needed! My goal is to help you rediscover your body through dance. This Jazz contemporary fusion class is a perfect combination of a full body warm up, across the floor conditioning, and unique combinations to build on. We will take things at a comfortable pace that does not intimidate our bodies but encourages them. Whether you’ve previously danced or haven’t danced at all, YOU are welcome to join! Grab your little, get out, come move, and find your body again!
Qoya with Shanna Tabatcher
Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Qoya is a movement practice for women based on a simple idea that through movement, we remember. We remember, as women, that our essence is wise, wild and free. Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms that we practice-yoga, dance and feminine movement. In Qoya, we focus less on how it looks and more on how it feels. Each class is based on a theme and lasts 1.5 hours.
