The Feldenkrais Method®, Awareness Through Movement® Classes

Improve the quality of your movement and you improve the quality of your life! The Feldenkrais Method is a form of education that uses movement and directed attention to improve functioning.

Habits, patterns, and compensations we develop throughout our life show up in the way we move and posture ourselves. By exploring the way you move you can open the door to new possibilities in how you organize yourself and your life.

In Awareness Through Movement classes you will be verbally guided through a sequence of gentle movements that develop self-awareness, flexibility, coordination, balance, strength, focus, and stress relief. Lessons are often done lying down on mats, or may be done sitting or standing.

Classes are one hour long and anyone is free to attend any class. You do not need to have prior Feldenkrais experience. You can move at your own pace!
